NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

The Company was notified on 12 February 2016 that on 8 October 2015 Mr Savio Kwan, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, acquired 40 ordinary shares of 25p each in British American Tobacco p.l.c. (the "Shares") at a price of 3,669.8425 pence per Share as a result of the reinvestment of his dividend income.

Following this transaction, Mr Kwan has a total beneficial and family interest in 3,040 Shares.
