S Young - Exercise of SAYE share option

On 1 June 2012, an option over 9,468 shares which had been granted to Mr S G Young on 7 April 2005 under the Meggitt 1998 Sharesave Scheme (Save As You Earn Scheme), reached maturity. The option price was £1.8876.

As a result of the above transaction, Mr Young's holding in the Company has increased to 406,300 ordinary shares of 5p each, 0.05% issued share capital.
