Dairy Crest Group PLC28 February 2006 Dairy Crest Group - Director Shareholding Dairy Crest Group plc (the "Company") has been informed today that theshareholding in the Company owned beneficially by Mr P W Thornton, a director ofthe Company, increased by 25 shares by virtue of the automatic reinvestment ofthe dividend recently paid by the Company to the manager of an ISA held in MrThornton's name. The reinvestment was effected by the ISA manager at 490p pershare on 3 February 2006. As a result of this transaction Mr P W Thornton nowbeneficially owns 26,245 shares in Dairy Crest (representing 0.02% of the issuedshare capital of the Company).
