UBM plc PURCHASE OF SHARES BY ESOP TRUST The company was notified on 8 October 2013 of dealings in its ordinary sharesof 10 pence each by the Trustee of the UBM Employee Share Ownership Trust,which is a discretionary Trust for the benefit of employees (includingexecutive directors) of the UBM group. Date of transaction: 8 October 2013 Nature of transaction: Purchase of 100,000 shares at an average price of 708.44p per share, with a minimum price of 706.1616p and a maximum price of 710.7105p. The shares will be used to satisfy awards under UBM's share option andincentive plans. Following the above transaction, the Trustee of the ESOP Trust holds a total of387,725 shares, representing 0.16% of the company's issued share capital. Anne Siddell
