Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 10 February 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE:BRW) received notification that:-

1. Angela Wright, a PDMR, has today exercised options totalling 4,585 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), (585 options at a price of 37.5p each and 4,000 options at a price of 81.3p each), pursuant to the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme December 2002 and 2003 grants respectively. She has also paid up nil paid shares totalling 12,038 Ordinary Shares at a price of 104.0p each pursuant to the Company's Senior Employee Matching Purchase Scheme July 2008 grant.

Her resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is now 112,711 ordinary shares (of which 12,000 are nil paid), representing approximately 0.0494% of the total issued share capital of the Company and the total number of shares over which options are held by her is now 37,838.
