Notification of Interests in Shares by an Executive Director and a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

Ashley Almanza, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director

BG Group plc has today received notification from Ashley Almanza, Chief Financial Officer, that on 24 March 2011 his wife, Gillian Almanza, transferred to him 10,000 Shares which he then immediately sold at a price of £15.192 per Share and that Gillian Almanza also sold 340,000 Shares at a price of £15.192 per Share. 

As a result, Mr Almanza's interests in the ordinary share capital of BG Group plc are now 126,012 Shares, representing 0.0037% of the Shares in issue.

The Company has also received notification today from Jørn Berget that on 24 March 2011, his wife, Patricia Berget, sold 4,183 Shares at a price of £15.175 per Share.

As a result, Mr Berget's interests in the ordinary share capital of BG Group plc are 105,830 Shares, representing 0.0031% of the Shares in issue.
