Safeland PLC17 April 2008 Safeland plc Directors' Shareholdings Safeland Plc ("Safeland" or the "Company") announces that it was notified on 16April 2008 that on 15 April 2008 Ray Lipman, Chairman, gifted for nilconsideration his entire holding of ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company("Shares"), amounting to 519,332 Shares (3.07% of the Company's issued ordinaryshare capital), to his three sons, as set out below: Errol Lipman (Safeland Director) 173,110 SharesLarry Lipman (Safeland Director) 173,112 SharesSteven Lipman 173,110 Shares Larry Lipman, Errol Lipman, Steven Lipman, Ray Lipman and Safeland Holdings(2008) Corporation ("SHC8")* (together "the Lipman Concert Party") are treatedas acting in concert for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers("the Code").
