Stagecoach Group plc ("the Company") has been notified that on 3 December 2008, Brian Souter, a director of the Company, increased his interest in the ordinary shares of the Company as follows:
Souter Inter Vivos Trust purchased 1,440,000 Oridinary shares of 56/57th pence at 138.96p per share. Total cost £2,021,037.74.
