Non-Executive Director - Monthly Share Purchase
On 1 August 2011, Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") received notification that ordinary shares of 2.5p each had been purchased on that date, in London, by the Non-Executive Directors ("NEDs") listed below. These purchases are in accordance with the Terms of Appointment for "NEDs" which state that NEDs must use at least 50% of their fees to purchase shares in the Company. The purchase price was 114.4 pence per share.
