Wichford plc17 July 2006 WICHFORD PLC (the "Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING The Company was today informed by Mr Michael Sheehan, the Chairman of theCompany and a resident of the Isle of Man, that, following a change in the taxstatus of the Company allowing a person resident in the Isle of Man to holdshares in the Company, on 13 July 2006 he and his wife had jointly purchased5,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") at 188p per OrdinaryShare.
