Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification
Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of life science research tools, was notified on 27 September 2016 that Jim Warwick, a Director of the Company, transferred 62,000 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") for nil consideration to Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge (registered charity no. 1137875) on 26 September 2016. This donation will be used by the College to provide student bursaries and hardship funds.
As a result of the transaction described above, Jim Warwick's total interest in the Company has decreased by 62,000 Ordinary Shares to a total of 2,881,381 Ordinary Shares.
