Purchase of Ordinary Shares by a Director

On 15 February 2013 David Mellors acquired 87 ordinary shares in QinetiQ Group plc ("Shares") on the reinvestment of dividends received in an ISA.

As a result of the above transaction, the aggregate number of Shares held beneficially by David Mellors (across all accounts) is 217,097 Shares (0.329% of the issued share capital).
