This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R (1) (a).

On 16 March 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that Mr Henry Algeo, a PDMR, has today acquired 6,855 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("ordinary shares") at a price of 132.6 pence each, representing 0.0030% of the Company, pursuant to a deferred consideration payment in relation to the acquisition of an investment management business by Brewin Dolphin Limited, the operating company.

His resultant holding in ordinary shares in the Company is now 62,201 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.0270% of the total issued share capital of the Company, and the total number of ordinary shares over which he holds options is 14,000.
