Marks and Spencer Group plc (the "Company") has been informed today of thefollowing purchases in London of ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company: Lord Burns 24,316 shares purchased at a price of 411.25p per share. His total shareholdingfollowing this transaction is 46,543 shares. The registered holder for theseshares is Pershing Keen Nominees Limited. Stuart Rose 250,000 shares purchased at a price of 410.66p per share. His totalshareholding following this transaction is 750,416 shares.
