Mr P E Hadsley-Chaplin has notified the Company that he has today acquired 4,000 M.P. Evans shares at 490 pence per share.

Following the above transaction Mr Hadsley-Chaplin's holdings in the shares of the Company are now as follows:-

Beneficial: 1,067,112 shares of 10p each (2% of the issued share capital)

Non-beneficial: 57,237 shares of 10p each (0.11% of the issued share capital)

Options: 670,000 shares of 10p each
