Soco International PLC18 December 2007 SOCO International plc ("SOCO" or the "Company") DIRECTORS/PDMR SHAREHOLDING The Company was informed today by the Trustees of the SOCO Employee Benefit Plan("the Trust") that on 18 December 2007, in accordance with the Company's LongTerm Incentive Plan, ("LTIP") and as a result of the exercise of relevantnil-price LTIP option awards, the Trust released a total of 107,520 SOCOInternational plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ("Shares"). As a result of therelease of Shares, the Trust is now interested in 2,165,780 Shares, representing2.98% of the total voting rights of the Company.
