Director/PDMR Shareholding

Announcement of transactions of a director and a PDMR in AMEC plc ordinary shares of 50p each pursuant to Disclosure Rule 3.1.4.

We notify you that Mr N Bruce, (a director of AMEC plc) has elected to receive 1,077 shares at 662p per share in lieu of the interim dividend paid on 1 July 2009.

We also notify that Mr Didier Pfleger (Chief Operating Officer - Power & Process and an AMEC person discharging managerial responsibility) has elected to receive 28 shares at 662p per share in lieu of the interim dividend paid on 1 July 2009.
