Spectris plc Announcement to the London Stock Exchange
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a) and LR 12.6.4.
On 16 March 2010, awards granted under the Spectris Performance Share Plan ("Plan") to certain directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities were exercised, as announced by the Company on 16 March 2010.
A number of individuals (where noted below) sold a proportion of the sharesacquired to fund their tax liabilities. The disposals were made on the LondonStock Exchange. The above awards were satisfied using treasury shares. In total 6,929 treasury shares were transferred from the Company's treasury reserves.
