This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 19 December 2012, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE:BRW) received notification that Sarah Soar a Director, has today exercised 6,369 options over Ordinary 1p shares at a price of 157.0p each pursuant to the Company's Senior Employee Matching Purchase Scheme December 2005 matching option award.

Her resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is 314,905 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.1263% of the total issued share capital of the Company (of which 54,050 are nil paid ordinary shares) and the total number of shares over which options are held by her are 141,746.
