Mitchells & Butlers plc has today been informed that, under the Company's all employee Share Incentive Plan (the "SIP"), shares were allocated by the SIP Trustee on 30 June 2008 to eligible employees, including the following executive directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs") who have standing participation instructions in place:
