Re: Interests in the Ordinary Shares of Cable and Wireless plcThe Company was notified on 31 May 2006 that on 26 May 2006 the Trustees ofCable and Wireless plc Employee Share Ownership Trust ("the Trust") disposed of41,867 Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£0.9725 per share.Following the disposal, 50,766,217 Ordinary Shares are currently held under theTrust.
