RSA Insurance Group plc (the "Company") received notification on 11 August 2011 of the following transaction in its ordinary shares of 27.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") by Edward Lea, a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
On 11 August 2011, Mr Lea purchased 70,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of £1.12 per share.
This announcement is made following a notification made in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2R.
