Notification of transactions of directors/persons discharging managerial responsibilities

Liontrust Asset Management PLC ("the Company") was informed on 4 January 2010 of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary shares of 1p ("Shares"):
On 4 January 2010, Nigel Legge and Vinay Abrol, directors of the Company, were allocated Shares as a result of the investment of dividend income through their participation in the Liontrust Share Incentive Plan at a price of 103 pence per Share.
The number of Shares allocated to such directors (and which are held on their behalf by Liontrust Trustee Limited) were as follows:
