PLC03 October 2006 F W Thorpe plc Further re: Directors' holdings The Company has been informed that the notification received from Mike Allcockon 2 October 2006 in respect of a change in his shareholding in the Company wasincorrect. The original notification incorrectly stated that, on 2 October2006, Mr Allcock and persons connected with him had sold 3,720 Ordinary Sharesin the Company and remained interested in 15,180 Ordinary Shares. The actualnumber of Ordinary Shares sold was 3,700 and following the sale, Mr Allcock andpersons connected with him remained interested in 15,200 Ordinary Shares in theCompany. The amended announcement is as follows: In accordance with sections 324 to 328 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended),Mr M Allcock has notified the Company that he and persons connected with himhave today sold 3,700 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 585p per Ordinary Share. Following this disposal, Mr Allcock and persons connected with him remaininterested in 15,200 Ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.13 per cent.of its issued share capital.
