Greene King PLC08 August 2006 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that, on 7 August 2006, 85,000 shares in the companywere acquired by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, as trustee of theGreene King Employee Share Trust. As a result of the acquisition, Rooney Anand,Justin Adams, Mark Angela, Ian Bull and David Elliott, who are beneficiaries ofthe trust, have acquired an interest in the 85,000 shares in the company.
