Greene King PLC02 April 2007 Director's interest in shares and total voting rights Greene King plc announces that on 2 April 2007 Mark Angela, a director of thecompany, exercised an option granted to him under the company's sharesave schemein 2004 and was allotted 2,628 shares in the company at a price of 351p pershare. This bring the total number of Greene King plc shares owned by Mark Angela to3,436. A total of 101,069 shares were allotted to employees on 2 April 2007 inconnection with the maturity of the company's sharesave scheme, including thoseallotted to Mark Angela. As a consequence Greene King plc's capital will consistof 151,740,591 ordinary shares with voting rights. Greene King plc holds 973,980ordinary shares in Treasury.
