Hargreaves Lansdown plc (the "Company") has received notification today from Stuart Louden, a PDMR, that on 29th October 2010, he sold a total of 181,500 ordinary shares of 0.4 pence in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of 459.5p per share. The number of ordinary shares sold represented 0.04% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Following this transaction, the beneficial shareholding of Stuart Louden is 337,975 ordinary shares representing 0.07% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR.
