This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R (1) (a).

On 10 March 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that Mr Jamie Graham Matheson, Executive Chairman, has today exercised options over 4,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 81.3p each pursuant to the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme December 2003 grant, representing 0.0018% of the total issued share capital of the Company

His resultant holding in the Company is now 482,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.2114% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
