British Land Co PLC29 August 2007 Notification of Free Share purchase under the British Land Share Incentive Plan('SIP') Hill Samuel ESOP Trustees Limited (the 'Trustees'), Trustees of the British LandSIP, notified the Company on 29th August 2007 that they purchased on 24th August2007 a total of 52,382 ordinary 25p shares at a price of £12.612708 per shareunder the 'Free Share' element of the Company's SIP. The SIP has been approvedby the Inland Revenue as a share incentive plan under Schedule 8 of the FinanceAct 2000.
