The Company has been notified that the following non-executive directors have acquired the following interests in its Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each ("ordinary shares").

As disclosed in the Company's 2009 annual report and financial statements, the remuneration of non-executive directors includes stated quantities of ordinary shares.
The above number of ordinary shares were accordingly purchased on the London Stock Exchange on 22 March 2010, at a price of 281.395 pence per share.
Notification of the above purchases on behalf of the non-executive directors was received by the Company on 22 March 2010.
Notification of each of the above transactions is now made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R.
