Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification
Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that, on 14 August 2008, one of its directors, John Michael May, exercised options over 63,233 Caledonia ordinary 5p shares, representing 0.11% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital. Options over 37,333 shares were exercised at an exercise price of 945p per share and over 25,900 shares at an exercise price of 1055p per share.
Of the Caledonia shares received from the option exercise, Mr May sold 45,720 shares at a price of 1974p per share, representing 0.08% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital, to fund the cost of the option exercise and associated tax liabilities.
Mr May's total holdings of Caledonia's shares following the above transactions are as follows:
Beneficial - 23,763 shares = 0.04%
Options - 116,843 shares = 0.20%
Deferred bonus plan - 46,891 shares = 0.08%
This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(a) and the shares will be registered in Mr May's name.
