Director/PDMR Shareholding in Cable & Wireless Communications Plc ("the Company")
The Company has been advised that on 12th May 2010, EES Corporate Trustees Limited, trustee of the Cable & Wireless Communications (Cable and Wireless plc) Share Purchase Plan ("SPP"), undertook the purchase of Partnership shares and allocation of Matching shares on behalf of the under mentioned Directors and PDMRs.

2 Matching shares will be held in Trust until the third anniversary of the date of grant. If any Partnership shares are removed from the Trust within three years, the corresponding Matching shares will usually be forfeit.
