Greene King PLC04 August 2006 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that, on 3 August 2006, 102,419 shares in the companywere acquired by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, as trustee of theGreene King Employee Share Trust. As a result of the acquisition, Rooney Anand,Justin Adams, Mark Angela, Ian Bull and David Elliott, who are beneficiaries ofthe trust, have acquired an interest in the 102,419 shares in the company. Thisbrings the number of shares owned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust to atotal of 427,262.
