UBM plc PURCHASE OF SHARES BY ESOP TRUST The company was notified on 21 March 2014 of dealings in its ordinary shares of10 pence each by the Trustee of the UBM Employee Share Ownership Trust, whichis a discretionary Trust for the benefit of employees (including executivedirectors) of the UBM group. Date of transaction: 19 March 2014 Nature of transaction: Purchase of 50,000 shares at an average price of685.4827p per share, with a minimum price of 681p and a maximum price of 689p. Date of transaction: 20 March 2014 Nature of transaction: Purchase of 50,000 shares at an average price of682.6920p per share, with a minimum price of 677.5p and a maximum price of685.5p. The shares will be used to satisfy awards under UBM's share option andincentive plans. Following the above transaction, the Trustee of the ESOP Trust holds a total of490,748 shares, representing 0.20% of the company's issued share capital. Anne Siddell
