Lonmin PLC24 August 2006 The Company was today notified that on 23 August 2006 the trustee of the LonminPlc Employee Benefit Trust ("Trust") purchased in London 326 Lonmin Plc OrdinaryShares of US$1 each ("Shares") at a price of £28.48 per Share and purchased anadditional 18 Shares today in Johannesburg each at a price of ZAR 380.00. TheseShares were purchased following the reinvestment of dividends paid to the Truston behalf of participants of the Deferred Annual Bonus Plan. 259 of these Shareswere purchased on behalf of the director and PDMRs listed below.
