On 21 April 2011 the following receipt of awards over ordinary shares of 5p each in Meggitt PLC under the Equity Participation Plan 2005 (EPP) were completed by Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMR) of Meggitt PLC.

These awards have been made subsequent to amendments to the EPP approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 20 April 2011 (further details in the AGM notice available at www.meggitt.com\ecomms): the awards have a vesting date of 16 August 2013 subject to certain performance conditions, and have been made at an award price for Basic Awards of £3.055 and for Matching Awards of £2.747.
