NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

The Company was notified on 27 November 2015, that on 16 November 2015 Mr Ricardo Oberlander, a person discharging managerial responsibility, had sold 9,100 ordinary shares of 25p each in British American Tobacco p.l.c. (the "Shares") at a price of 3,738.5070 pence per Share.
Following this transaction, Mr Oberlander has a total beneficial and family interest in 49,218 Shares (including 15,390 Deferred Shares).
