Notification of Interests in Shares by Executive Directors

The Company has today received notification from Frank Chapman, Chief Executive, that between the 22 and 23 September 2009 he exercised options under the BG Group Company Share Option Scheme as follows:

Subsequently 1,597,534 shares arising from this exercise were sold at a price of £11.128989 per share.
In addition, Mr Chapman has notified that on 23 September 2009 he transferred 1,001,958 shares to his wife, Kari Chapman, at nil consideration.
As a result, Mr Chapman's interests in the ordinary share capital of BG Group plc have increased by 290,736 shares to 1,721,036 shares, representing 0.051% of the shares in issue.
Ashley Almanza
The Company has also received notification today from Ashley Almanza, Chief Financial Officer, that on 23 September 2009 he exercised options under the BG Group Company Share Option Scheme over 337,892 shares at a price of £4.9942 per share. Subsequently the 337,892 shares arising from this exercise were sold at a price of £11.128989 per share.
In addition, Mr Almanza has notified that on 23 September 2009 he sold 154,092 shares at a price of £11.128989 per share.
As a result, Mr Almanza's interests in the ordinary share capital of BG Group plc are 540,567 shares, representing 0.016% of the shares in issue.
