Carillion PLC08 September 2005 Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust Interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities Carillion plc (the Company) was notified yesterday, Wednesday 7 September 2005,that the Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust (the Trust) on 7 September2005 transferred 2,706 Carillion plc ordinary shares of 50p each (less than0.01% of the issued share capital) pursuant to the exercise of options under theCarillion Sharesave Scheme. The number of Carillion plc ordinary shares now held by the Trust is 3,917,696(1.826% of the issued share capital).
