T Twigger - Exercise of SAYE share option

On 8 December 2011, an option over 3,222 shares which had been granted to Mr T Twigger on 5 October 2006 under the Meggitt 1998 Sharesave Scheme (Save As You Earn Scheme), reached maturity. The option price was £2.0318.

As a result of the above transaction, Mr Twigger's holding in the Company has increased to 1,103,590 ordinary shares of 5p each, 0.14% of issued share capital.
