Director Shareholding
Tricor has been advised today that on 17 September 2013, Nova Resources Limited ("Nova"), an AIM quoted company of which Chan Fook Meng (a director of Tricor and Nova) is interested in approximately 51.8%, has acquired warrants over 9,000,000 ordinary shares in Tricor. The warrants were acquired by Nova from Pearce Global Limited at 7.38p per warrant in return for the sale of an investment in European Islamic Investment Bank plc. The warrants are exercisable at 0.5p per share until 31 December 2017.
Mr Chan has a total indirect beneficial interest in 75,188 ordinary shares in Tricor, representing 0.06% of Tricor's total issued share capital, and following this acquisition of warrants by Nova, has an interest in warrants (and options over warrants) to acquire a further 64,000,000 ordinary shares in Tricor. Mr Chan is also entitled to further ordinary shares in Tricor under the Company Voluntary Arrangement ("CVA") (as announced on 10 January 2013), which was expected to be approximately 3,959,700 ordinary shares (assuming all creditors make a valid claim), although this amount may vary depending on final claims and allocations under the CVA. Such CVA shares are expected to be determined and distributed upon completion of the CVA later this year.
