NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") has received notification that R. A. G. Associates Limited, a person connected to Sir Roy Gardner, Chairman, today sold 19,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 585.0 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Sir Roy Gardner, and persons connected to him, hold 200,878 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company, representing 0.01063% of the issued share capital.
