WH SMITH PLC - DIRECTORS'/PDMR SHAREHOLDINGS
On 24 February 2010 the named executives exchanged the following number of nil cost options over Ordinary Shares of 22 6/67 p in WH Smith PLC (the 'Company') as set out in the table below for an equivalent number of Restricted Shares under the Company's 2008 Management Investment Plan ('MIP'). These shares will be held by the WH Smith Employee Benefit Trust on behalf of the executives. The performance period and conditions remain the same and are as set out in the Annual Report published in November 2009.
