Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Following the release of 2017 Preliminary Results to the market on 8th March, Peter Long (Executive Chairman), Paul Creffield (Group Operations Director) and Himanshu Raja (Chief Financial Officer) have informed Countrywide plc of the below share acquisition. This underpins their belief in the business and further demonstrates their commitment to leading the recovery:
· Peter Long purchased 200,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £0.7980 per Ordinary Share on 8 March 2018. Following the purchase, Peter Long's interests in the Company's Ordinary Shares is 571,429 Ordinary Shares.
· Himanshu Raja purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £0.8805 per Ordinary Share on 9 March 2018. Following the purchase, Himanshu Raja's interests in the Company's Ordinary Shares (excluding outstanding options and/or awards held under the Company's other employee share incentive plans) is 322,841 Ordinary Shares.
· Paul Creffield purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £0.83431 per Ordinary Share on 8 March 2018. Following the purchase, Paul Creffield's interests in the Company's Ordinary Shares (excluding outstanding options and/or awards held under the Company's other employee share incentive plans) is 454,742 Ordinary Shares.
