Interest in shares
Global Petroleum has today announced on the ASX that 250,000 ordinary shares have been acquired by Peter Taylor on market at an average price of A$0.1247 (approximately 5.8p). The notices also clarify the holdings of Messrs Taylor and Blakey as a result of the notification by Mr Blakey on 20 May 2008 in regard to a change of holding from an indirect interest to a direct interest. Messrs Taylor and Blakey's overall interests in the fully issued ordinary shares of Global Petroleum Limited are 29,817,771 (17.1 per cent.) and 29,567,771 (16.9 per cent.) respectively.
