This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 16th August 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE:BRW) received notification that Linda Cartwright a PDMR, has today exercised matching options totalling 12,150 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 82.3p each pursuant to the Company's Senior Employee Matching Purchase Scheme December 2003 grant.

Her resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is now 71,603 ordinary shares (of which 39,138 are nil paid), representing approximately 0.0311% of the total issued share capital of the Company and the total number of shares over which options are held by her is 55,150.
