Pennon Group PLC11 October 2005 PENNON GROUP PLC FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DIRECTORS/PDMR SHAREHOLDING (PURSUANT TO DR3.1 4R(I)) Pennon Group Plc announces that it received notification on 10 October 2005pursuant to DR3.1.2R as follows: (1) that pursuant to the Company's SCRIP Dividend Alternative, thefollowing Ordinary shares of 111p each in the Company were allotted to personsdischarging managerial responsibilities in the Company on 5 October 2005 inEngland: Dr S C Bird - 139 Mr M Hellings - 600 Mr A R Hooper - 408 Mr R M P Hughes - 951 Mr E G Jackson - 428 Mrs J M Jackson - 2 (connected person to Mr E G Jackson) Mr G R Murphy - 35 Mrs M S Read - 48 Mr N J Read - 2 (connected person to Mrs M S Read) These shares were allotted to the persons dischargingmanagerial responsibilities in the Company on 5 October 2005 pursuant to theCompany's SCRIP Dividend Alternative whereby participants elected to receive onenew Ordinary share for every 1013.4 pence otherwise payable as a cash dividendin respect of the final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2005.
