The Company has today received notification of the following transaction in its Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") by John Walden, an executive director.
Release of awards under the Home Retail Group Performance Share Plan
On 1 March 2012, upon the appointment of John Walden as Managing Director of Argos, the Company made an award under the terms of the Company's Performance Share Plan. The award was subject, in part, to performance conditions which were fully satisfied. At the vesting date, 1 March 2015, Ordinary Shares were released as follows:

*Sale of Ordinary Shares to satisfy the tax and social security liabilities falling due on the release of these shares and to cover the incidental costs of disposal.
The sale of shares took place on the London Stock Exchange on 2 March 2015, at a price of 201.06 pence per share.
Notification of this transaction is now made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R.
