Notification of transaction of PDMR and connected person
The Issuer announces that Northumbrian Water Share Scheme Trustees Limited, the trustee of the Issuer's Long Term Incentive Plan (the "Plan") has today, 16 December 2008, transferred ordinary 10 pence shares in the Issuer to the person discharging managerial responsibility named below at nil cost, pursuant to the rules of the Plan. The transfer of shares is pursuant to a conditional award of shares made on 9 December 2005.
Graham Neave acquired 9,662 shares under the LTIP, representing 0.001% of the Issuer's issued share capital. Of these, 4,025 shares (0.0007%) were sold at £2.50 per share to meet tax liabilities and 5,637 shares were transferred to Mrs S Neave. Mr Neave's beneficial and family interests in the Issuer now total 33,899 shares, representing 0.006% of the Issuer's issued share capital.
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R.
