Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR")

Close Brothers Group plc (the "Company") received notification from Jonathan Howell on 24 May 2009 (a director and PDMR of the Company) that he acquired on 22 May 2009, a total of 15,664 ordinary shares of the Company at price of 638.39p per share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Howell's total beneficial holding is 15,664 shares.
